Residential Electrician Serving Southern New Hampshire
Electricians will always be needed as long as the world runs on electricity. Your home is no different. Residential electricians install, maintain, inspect, and repair wiring and electrical systems in residences, single-family homes, and small apartment buildings. Electrical workers travel each day to a job site, which may be a new construction site or a residential property. Depending on the size of the job, they may work alone or in teams. Depending on the nature of the job, it may involve installing new wiring and components or working on existing or older ones.Residential electrical services include:
Electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting should be installed, maintained, and repaired
Upgrading outdated or damaged the electrical panels
Troubleshoot electrical problems
Importance of Hiring a Licensed Residential Electrician
The work of an electrician involves some safety risks, and electricians suffer more injuries than the average worker. There is always the risk of electric shock, falls, fires, and injuries associated with tools and equipment, as well as simply being on a construction site as a residential electrician. Risks can be reduced by using safety gear and being trained to work safely. Each state, and even some municipalities, has set requirements for how electricians are trained and licensed. These may vary but are similar. Generally, residential electricians must be licensed through the state and have a certain number of hours of classroom learning and on-the-job training and work experience. It takes years of experience and high competence to become a Master Electrician. .

Commercial Electrician Serving Southern New Hampshire
Commercial electricians specialize in wiring and electrical systems in commercial buildings rather than residential buildings. Large buildings such as shopping malls, office buildings, restaurants, government buildings, and high rises require these electricians to work with bigger systems.Electrical systems in commercial buildings are installed, maintained, inspected, and repaired by commercial electricians. A non-residential building is one that is not used as a residence, so it is generally larger than a residential building.A commercial electrician's priority is to ensure that their clients' businesses are not disrupted by electrical problems.
Importance of Hiring a Licensed Commercial Electrician
Commercial electrical work can also be dangerous, with the risk of shocks, fires and injury from tools and equipment. Using safety gear and following safety regulations can reduce these risks. Most states have separate licensing for commercial and residential electricians. This is because the wiring and power used in commercial settings are different. Power to residential settings is one-phase, while power to commercial buildings is three-phase. Electricians working on commercial wiring need to be trained to be able to work with these important differences. As with any type of electrician, to become a commercial electrician you will need to have a certain number of hours of classroom learning and on-the-job training and work experience. An apprenticeship program can provide all of these required hours. Some programs will include training for both residential and commercial work, while others keep them separate. If you want to become a commercial electrician you will need to have a certain number of hours of work experience, depending on your state, in a commercial setting.
